i got a call

so basically the hiring agency gave me a call at 8:30 this morning saying that they went with another guy for the position. He said I was the runner-up and that we both had the same skill set, except he lived 5 minutes away. He said if the guy doesn't pass the background check, doesn't accept the job, or just doesn't show up to work - I'm next in line....I'm happy for that guy, I just hope he made the mistake of smoking weed about a month ago so he wouldn't pass his drug test. Or I hope he was charged wit a misdemeanor for like....being drunk in public or something. Dang I wonder if they called my references, I was sure those references would put me over the top....well that is all...I just wanna play basketball and dota.

I will say though, good thing I left earlier than I should have, because I realized i was going north on the wrong freeway, I was supposed to go up 405, but I went up the 5, I realized it only after passing the 22 freeway that connects the 2 freeways...small detour, I was freaking out, but I made it to the interview on time....

I will also say the interview was very technical, but ya, if I get it, I get it, if not, then well...move on

buca di p90x

k so i woke up this morning and printed out all of the p90x documents....there's a lot of things to keep track of...but i'm excited, i got a little binder with stuff to track my progress. It said to take a start photo too. So i have a before photo. I also weighed myself. First i weighed myself and it read 120 something....i was like wtf why is this thing broken. Then I put it on the tile in the bathroom, and the real reading came out....wooo, I got an ass for days. Let's just say I got my work cut out for me.

it wasn't good that i didnt' eat breakfast, but it was worth it being in the zone and printing out those things.

a little set back cause my mom came to visit her friend here in Laguna Niguel, so we ate at Buca Di Beppo in Tustin, and they ordered a lot cause they thought I would eat everything. They gave me all the leftovers too, so now i have dinner.

so ya, I'm restarting p90x because before I was just playing random videos and doing the workouts everyday. There's an actual plan that you follow, so I'm gonna follow it.

-manage my expenses

-play some grand theft auto
-apply for unemployment
-make different resumes - one for engineering, one for project management, one for marketing/advertising

NBA season needs to start now...luckily i'm starting to enjoy football, but still I really just want basketball to start already

didn't hit me til today that in less than a month i'm gonna be 22

Helloooo readers,

I've decided to attempt to try to blog again.

let's see how long I can keep this up...it's like a journal right?

San Gabriel Mission Fair Today, last day...come if you're bored. I will provide you cantaloupe juice and a combo plate consisting of rice, pancit noodles, chicken adobo, and 3 - count 'em 3 lumpia egg rolls. Since you're my friend, I'll throw in a pork BBQ stick...and the definition for that BBQ is two fold - one for Best of the Best Quality as well as Bar-Be-Que.

I think this blog will be short, I don't wanna use up my blogging energy for the year, I gotta conserve.

Summer Retreat is next week....all I gotta say is....GO!
